Yaw Rate And Acceleration Sensor: Removal

HINT:

• Do not use a dropped or damaged yaw rate sensor.
• Prevent foreign matter from attaching between the yaw rate sensor bracket and body.
• Confirm that the sensor direction is correct.

1. REMOVE SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER OUTER 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

   For Manual Seat (See REMOVAL )

   For Power Seat (See REMOVAL )

2. REMOVE SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER INNER FRONT 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

   For Manual Seat (See REMOVAL )

   For Power Seat (See REMOVAL )

3. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER LH 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

   For Manual Seat (See REMOVAL )

   For Power Seat (See REMOVAL )

4. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER RH 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

   For Manual Seat (See REMOVAL )

   For Power Seat (See REMOVAL )

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Manual Seat) 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

   w/o Front Seat side Airbag (See REMOVAL )

   w/ Front Seat side Airbag (See DISASSEMBLY )

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Power Seat) 

   HINT:

   Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

   w/o Front Seat side Airbag (See REMOVAL )

   w/ Front Seat side Airbag (See DISASSEMBLY )

7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY CENTER  (See REMOVAL )
8. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET COVER CENTER LH  (See REMOVAL )
9. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET COVER CENTER RH  (See REMOVAL )
10. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH  (See REMOVAL )
12. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH  (See REMOVAL )
13. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws and 2 clips, and remove the rear door scuff plate.
    2. Disconnect the connector, (w/ illumination scuff plate)
14. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER RH 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws and 2 clips, and remove the center pillar garnish lower.
15. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR 
    1. Turn back the floor carpet, and remove the bolt, nut, clamp and yaw rate sensor.

    2. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.
       NOTE: Do not remove the yaw rate sensor from the yaw rate sensor bracket.
