Skid Control Ecu: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
  2. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the steering column (See REMOVAL ) .

    HINT:

    Refer to the procedures from the removal of the No 2. rear floor board up until the removal of the steering column assembly.

  3. REMOVE SKID CONTROL ECU 
    1. Remove the wire harness clamp and skid control buzzer from the skid control ECU bracket.
    2. Disconnect the 4 skid control ECU connectors.
    3. Remove the 3 nuts and skid control ECU.
