Rear Stabilizer Bar: Installation

  1. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BUSH 
    1. Install the 2 stabilizer bushes onto the stabilizer bar.

      HINT:

      Install the stabilizer bush onto the outer side of the bush stopper on the stabilizer bar.

  2. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Install the stabilizer bar and 2 stabilizer bracket covers with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 30 N*m (306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf)

  3. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the stabilizer link with the nut.

      Torque: 70 N*m (714 kgf*cm, 52 ft.*lbf) 

      HINT:

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud.

    2. Install the 2 No. 1 retainers, 2 cushions and No. 2 retainer.
    3. While holding the stabilizer link with a spanner, install a new nut.

      Torque: 15 N*m (153 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)

    4. The installation procedure for the RH side is the same as that for the LH side.
  4. INSTALL REAR WHEEL 

    Torque: 112 N*m (1, 137 kgf*cm, 82 ft.*lbf)
