Rear Coil Spring: Removal

  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 
  2. SEPARATE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER 
    1. Support the rear axle housing.
    2. Remove the bolt and separate the shock absorber.

  3. SEPARATE REAR BRAKE TUBE FLEXIBLE HOSE 
    1. Using SST, separate the 2 brake tubes.

      SST 09023-00101 

      HINT:

      Use a container to catch the brake fluid.

    2. Remove the 2 clips and disconnect the 2 flexible hoses.

  4. REMOVE REAR COIL SPRING 
    1. Start to lower the rear axle housing.
      NOTE: Do not snap the brake line or the parking brake cable.
    2. While lowering the rear axle housing, remove the coil spring.
