Front Shock Absorber With Coil Spring: Removal
- REMOVE FRONT WHEELS
- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
- SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
- Remove the nut and separate the stabilizer link from the steering knuckle.
HINT:
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud.
- Remove the nut and separate the stabilizer link from the steering knuckle.
- SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
The removal procedure for the RH side is the same as that for the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR (See REMOVAL )
- SEPARATE TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING
- Remove the bolt, nut and washer.
- Remove the 3 nuts on the upper side of the front shock absorber with coil spring.
- Remove the front shock absorber with coil spring.
