Front Shock Absorber With Coil Spring: Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEELS 
  2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  3. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the nut and separate the stabilizer link from the steering knuckle.

      HINT:

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud.

  4. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT:

    The removal procedure for the RH side is the same as that for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR  (See REMOVAL  )
  6. SEPARATE TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING 
    1. Remove the bolt, nut and washer.

    2. Remove the 3 nuts on the upper side of the front shock absorber with coil spring.
    3. Remove the front shock absorber with coil spring.
