Back Door Glass: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE SPARE DISC WHEEL 
  3. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SPOILER COVER  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE REAR SPOILER  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE BACK WINDOW SUPPORT  (See REMOVAL )
  6. REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS 
    1. Disconnect the 2 defogger connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 nuts and the back door glass.

  7. REMOVE BACK WINDOW STAY UPPER BRACKET RH 
    1. Remove the 2 screws, the retainer and the back window stay upper bracket.

  8. REMOVE BACK WINDOW STAY UPPER BRACKET LH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedure as described for the RH side.

  9. REMOVE BACK WINDOW LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 screws, the retainer and the back window lock striker.

  10. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE 
    1. Remove the screw and the back door outside handle.
    2. Remove the bush.
