Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK COURTESY LAMP SWITCH

    1. Check the courtesy switch, as shown in the illustration and table.

    Standard: 

    TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Tester Connection Switch Position Specified Condition
    1 - Body ground Pushed Below 1 Ω
    1 - Body ground Not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
    1. NG: REPLACE COURTESY LAMP SWITCH 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (INTEGRATION RELAY - DOOR COURTESY SWITCH)

    1. Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
    2. Check the resistance between the terminals of the integration relay and door courtesy switch connectors, as shown in the illustration and table.

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      I11-13 - D5-1 Below 1 Ω

    3. Disconnect the each door courtesy switch connectors.
    4. Check the resistance between the terminals of the integration relay and door courtesy switch connectors, as shown in the illustration and table.

    Standard: 

    TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Tester Connection Specified Condition
    ID-1 - D4-1 Below 1 Ω
    ID-15-D7-1 Below 1 Ω
    ID-14-D6-1 Below 1 Ω
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TVIP ECU - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT SWITCH)

    1. Disconnect the TVIP ECU and luggage comportment light switch connectors.
    2. Check the resistance between the terminals of the TVIP ECU and luggage compartment light switch connectors, as shown in the illustration and table.

    Standard: 

    TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Tester Connection Specified Condition
    DSWL (T3-35)-L4-1 Below 1 Ω
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

    PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE  )
