Rear Shock Absorber With Coil Spring: Disassembly

FIX REAR SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING
1. Install the 2 nuts and bolt to the bracket at the lower part of the shock absorber, and secure it in a vise as shown in the illustration.

REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER
1. Using SST, compress the coil spring.
  SST 09727-30021
  
  NOTE: Do not use an impact wrench. It will damage SST.
2. Remove the nut, collar and LH support suspension.
3. Remove the coil spring, spring bumper and insulator lower.
