Shift Lever Assembly: Disassembly

REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the floor shift lever knob from the shift lever.

1. Release the 4 claws with a screwdriver and remove the floor shift position indicator housing sub-assembly and slide cover.
REMOVE LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING
1. Disconnect the 3 clamps of indicator lamp wire sub-assembly.
2. Release the 4 claws with a screwdriver and remove the lower position indicator housing.

REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON
REMOVE SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON COVER
REMOVE INDICATOR LAMP WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the indicator lamp wire sub-assembly.

2. Remove the bulb from the indicator lamp wire sub-assembly.
REMOVE SHIFT LOCK CONTROL COMPUTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

1. Remove the shift lever nut and shift lever lock pin.
2. Remove the shift lever guide housing.
3. Release the 2 claws with a screwdriver and remove the shift lock release link and spring.
4. Remove the 2 screws and the shift lock control computer.
