Height Control Accumulator: Removal

  1. DRAIN ACTIVE HEIGHT CONTROL SUSPENSION FLUID 
    1. Connect the hose to the bleeder plug for height control accumulator and loosen the bleeder plug.
    2. After the fluid pressure has dropped and oil has drained out, tighten the bleeder plug and remove the hose.

      Torque: 6.9 N*m (70 kgf*cm, 61 in.*lbf)

  2. REMOVE DAMPING FORCE CONTROL ACTUATOR (See  REMOVAL   ) 
  3. DISCONNECT CONNECTOR 
  4. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using SST, disconnect the inlet fluid line from the height control accumulator.

      SST 09023-38401 

      Torque: 30 N*m (310 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf)

    2. Using SST, disconnect the outlet fluid line from the height control accumulator.

      SST 09751-36011 

      Torque: 15 N*m (155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Remove the nut, 3 bolts and height control accumulator.

      Torque: 29 N*m (300 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf)
