Active Height Control Pump And Motor: Disassembly

  1. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and pull out the reservoir.
    2. Insert flat-head screwdriver into the slit of the cover to the extent that it reaches the reservoir cap.
      1. Turn the cap and the cover together.
      2. Remove the cover and the cap.
    3. Remove the cover from the cap.
    4. Remove the strainer and grommet from the reservoir.

  2. REMOVE SUSPENSION CONTROL OIL RESERVOIR BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and reservoir bracket from the housing.
    2. Remove the 3 cushions from the reservoir bracket.
  3. REMOVE FLUID PRESSURE SENSOR 
    1. Remove the fluid pressure sensor from the housing.
  4. REMOVE FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Remove the fluid temperature sensor from the housing.
  5. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL PUMP COVER 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts, pump cover and O-ring.
  6. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL PUMP SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a hexagon wrench, remove the 2 bolts and pump sub-assembly.
    2. Remove the O-ring.
  7. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and pump motor from the housing.
  8. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL MOTOR JOINT

  9. REMOVE OIL SEAL 
    1. Using a screwdriver, remove the oil seal.
      NOTE: Be careful not to damage the housing.
