Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Installation

  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply a light coat of spindle oil or gasoline to a new O-ring and install it to the fuel pressure pulsation damper.
    2. Install the fuel pressure pulsation damper to the fuel delivery pipe.
    3. Install the clip.
  2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK (See step 3 under  INSTALLATION  ) 
  3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE (See step 4 under  INSTALLATION  ) 
  4. INSTALL COWL TOP PANEL OUTER (See step 21 under  INSTALLATION  ) 
  5. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR & LINK ASSEMBLY (See step 2 under  INSTALLATION  ) 
  6. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH 
  7. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH (See step 3 under  INSTALLATION  ) 
  8. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH (See step 4 under  INSTALLATION  ) 
  9. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (See step 2 under  COOLANT  ) 
  10. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL 
  11. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS (See step 3 under  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  12. CHECK FOR FUEL LEAKS (See  ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION  ) 
  13. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See step 14 under  INSTALLATION  ) 
  14. PERFORM SYSTEM INITIALIZE 
    1. Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the battery terminal.
