Door Control Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCH (for Driver Side) 
    1. Remove the multiplex network master switch assembly.
    2. Measure the resistance of the door control switch.

      Resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 5 Lock Below 1
      1 - 5
      1 - 8      		 OFF 10 k or higher
      1 - 8 Unlock Below 1

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.

  2. INSPECT DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCH (for Front Passenger Side)

    1. Remove the door lock control switch assembly.
    2. Measure the resistance of the switch.

      Resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 - 6 Lock Below 1
      3 - 5
      3 - 6      		 OFF 10 k or higher
      3 - 5 Unlock Below 1

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
