- Left Side:
- W/ Retract Mirror only: INSPECT MIRROR MOTOR OPERATION
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 5. Check that the mirror turns leftward.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the mirror turns rightward.
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 6 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 5. Check that the mirror turns upward.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the mirror turns downward.
If operation is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.
- W/o Retract Mirror and Driving Position Memory: INSPECT MIRROR MOTOR OPERATION
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1. Check that the mirror turns leftward.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the mirror turns rightward.
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1. Check that the mirror turns upward.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the mirror turns downward.
If operation is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.
- W/ Retract Mirror and Driving Position Memory: INSPECT MIRROR MOTOR OPERATION
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 7 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 8. Check that the mirror turns upward.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the mirror turns downward.
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 8 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 9. Check that the mirror turns leftward.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the mirror turns rightward.
- w/o Driving Position Memory: INSPECT ELECTRICAL RETRACT MOTOR OPERATION

- Driving position:
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2. Check that the mirror moves to the retract position.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the mirror does not operate.
If operation is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.
- Between driving position and retract position:
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2. Check that the mirror moves to the retract position.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the mirror moves to the return position (Stops at the driving position).
If operation is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.
- Retract position:
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2. Check that the mirror does not operate.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the mirror moves to the return position (Stops at the driving position).
If operation is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.
- Driving position:
- W/ Driving Position Memory: INSPECT ELECTRICAL RETRACT MOTOR OPERATION

- Reverse the polarity and check that the mirror does not operate.

- Between driving position and retract position:
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 13 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 14. Check that the mirror moves to the retract position.
- Reverse the polarity and check that the mirror moves to the return position (Stops at the driving position).
If operation is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.
- Retract position:
