Shift Lock Control Ecu (ATM): Inspection

  1. INSPECT SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU 
    1. Disconnect the connector of shift lock control ECU.
    2. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals.
      SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU CONTINUITY

      Terminal Measuring Condition Specified Value
      A5 (IG) - B2 (SLS+) Switch ON Continuity
      A5(IG)-B2(SLS+) Switch OFF NO Continuity

    3. Connect STP terminal to the batteries' positive (+) terminal, and E terminal to the battery negative (-) terminal, and apply about 12 V between STP - E terminals.
    4. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals.
    SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU CONTINUITY

    Terminal Measuring Condition Specified Value
    A1 (E) - B1 (SLS-) Connect Battery Continuity
    A1 (E) - B1 (SLS-) Disconnect Battery NO Continuity
