    1. Disconnect the vapor pressure sensor connector.
      NOTE: Near the fuel tank.
    2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    3. Using a voltmeter, measure the voltage between connector terminals 1 and 3 of the wire harness side.

      Voltage:

      4.5 to 5.5 V

If the volage is not as specified, the see DTC P0451, P0452, P0453: EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM PRESSURE SENSOR/SWITCH RANGE/PERFORMANCE LOW/HIGH INPUT .

    4. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK position.
    5. Reconnect the vapor pressure sensor connector.
  2. INSPECT POWER OUTPUT OF VAPOR PRESSURE SENSOR
    1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    2. Remove the fuel tank cap.

    3. Connect a voltmeter to terminals 2 and 3, and measure the output voltage.

      Voltage:

      3.0 to 3.6 V

If the volage is not as specified, see DTC P0451, P0452, P0453: EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM PRESSURE SENSOR/SWITCH RANGE/PERFORMANCE LOW/HIGH INPUT .

    4. Reinstall the fuel tank cap.
