Charging System: Generator: Installation

  1. Install the generator and temporally tighten the 2 bolts.
  2. Install the drive belt and adjust the belt tension (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION  ).
  3. Tighten the 2 bolts.

    Torque: 

    14 mm head 18 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf) 

    17 mm head 54 N.m (550 kgf.cm, 40 ft.lbf)

  4. Connect the generator connector.
  5. Connect the harness clamp.
  6. Connect the generator wire, and install the nut and rubber cap.
  7. Connect the generator wire, and install the rubber cap and nut.
