Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT NAVIGATION CONTROLLER ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the navigation controller assy E18 connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      NAVIGATION CONTROLLER ASSY E18 CONNECTOR TERMINALS RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      GND - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      NAVIGATION CONTROLLER ASSY E18 CONNECTOR TERMINALS VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      +B - GND Always 10 to 14 V
      ACC - GND Ignition switch on (ACC) 10 to 14 V

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (SEE  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   )
