Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT MULTI-DISPLAY 
    1. Disconnect the multi-display E7 connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      GND1 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      SG - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      +B - GND1 Always 10 to 14 V
      ACC - GND1 Ignition switch on (ACC) 10 to 14 V
      IG - GND1 Ignition switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V

    1. NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK : PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   OR  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
