Speed Sensor (ATM): Replacement
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSY (SEE REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE NO. 1 (SEE REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER BRACKET (SEE REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET NO. 1 (SEE REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE SPEED SENSOR (NT SENSOR)
- Disconnect the speed sensor connector.
- Remove the bolt and transmission revolution sensor.
- REMOVE SPEED SENSOR (NC SENSOR)
- Disconnect the speed sensor connector.
- Remove the bolt and transmission revolution sensor.
- INSTALL SPEED SENSOR (NC SENSOR)
- Coat an O-ring with ATF.
- Install the speed sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 11 N.m (115 kgf.cm, 8 ft.lbf)
HINT:
Make sure of the manufacturer's name.
- Connect the speed sensor connector.
- INSTALL SPEED SENSOR (NT SENSOR)
- Coat an O-ring with ATF.
- Install the speed sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 11 N.m (115 kgf.cm, 8 ft.lbf)
HINT:
Make sure of the manufacturer's name.
- Connect the speed sensor connector.
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET NO. 1 (SEE REPLACEMENT )
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER BRACKET (SEE REPLACEMENT )
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE NO. 1 (SEE REPLACEMENT )
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSY (SEE REPLACEMENT )
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION (SEE INITIALIZATION
)
Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.
