Inspection Procedure

Check taillights operation.
CHECK:

Check that the taillights light up when the light control switch is turned to TAIL.
1. NG: Check headlight and taillight system (see LOCATION ).
2. OK: Go to Next Step.
Check harness and connector between TVIP ECU and integration relay (driver side J/B).
PREPARATION:
1. Disconnect the T11 TVIP ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the 1N or IL driver side J/B connector.

CHECK:

Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.

OK:

w/ Daytime running light:

w/o Daytime running light:

1. NG: Repair or replace harness and connector.
2. OK: Go to Next Step.
Replace TVIP ECU with normal one.
1. NG: Replace driver side J/B.
2. OK: Go to Next Step.
Replace TVIP ECU.
