Inspection Procedure

  1. Check radio and navigation assy. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position.

    CHECK: 

    Keep pressing the "DISC" eject switch for 5 seconds and check if the disc is ejected by forced ejection.

    OK: 

    The disc is ejected. 

    HINT:

    The above operation can only be performed with the ignition switch in the ACC position.

    1. NG : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   . 
    2. OK : Go to next Step. 
  2. Check the CD. 

    CHECK: 

    Check that the CD is not deformed or cracked.

    OK: 

    No deformations or cracks appear on the CD.

    1. NG : Replace CD. 
    2. OK : GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. Replace CD with another and recheck. 

    CHECK: 

    Insert another CD and check if it is ejected.

    OK: 

    The disc is ejected. 

    1. NG : Replace radio and navigation assy. 
    2. OK : End.
