Inspection Procedure

HINT:
In case of using the hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the hand-held tester, start from step 2.
- Check key unlock warning switch using hand-held tester.
PREPARATION:
Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
CHECK:
Check the key unlock warning switch using DATA LIST.
- OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
- NG: Go to next step
- Check key unlock warning switch (See INSPECTION
).
- NG: Replace key unlock warning switch.
- OK: Go to next step
- Check wire harness and connector between key unlock warning switch and body ECU (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE
).
- NG: Repair or replace wire harness and connector.
- OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .
