Inspection Procedure

  1. Check door courtesy switch (See  INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG : Replace door courtesy switch. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. Check for a grounding malfunction caused by loosened screw. 
    1. NG : Tighten screw. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  3. Check for harness and connector between door courtesy switch and passenger side J/B ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ). 
    1. NG : Repair or replace harness and connector. 
    2. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   ).
