Section 955 (Exhaust System): Resonator: Installation

- Support the muffler/resonator assembly under the vehicle.
- Install the insulators.
- Position torca clamp on the resonator/muffler assembly.
- Align paint marks and insert the resonator/muffler assembly into the muffler outlet pipe 45mm (.039 in.).
- Tighten torca clamp nut to 54 N.m (40 ft. lbs.).
- Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
- Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. Make the necessary adjustments, if needed.
