Radiator ASSY: Replacement

DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (See COOLANT )
DISCONNECT RADIATOR RESERVE TANK HOSE OR PIPE
DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE INLET
DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET
DISCONNECT OIL COOLER OUTLET HOSE NO.2
DISCONNECT OIL COOLER OUTLET HOSE NO.3
REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET ASSY
1. Remove the 3 bolts and 2 air cleaner inlets.

REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER
1. Disconnect the 2 horn connectors.
2. Remove the hood lock release lever cover.

3. Remove the bolt shown in Fig 3 .
4. Remove the 4 bolts and radiator support.

REMOVE RADIATOR ASSY
1. Disconnect the fan motor connector.
2. Disconnect the ECT switch No. 1 connector.
3. Remove the radiator from the body.
REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT LOWER
REMOVE FAN ASSY W/MOTOR
1. Remove the 3 bolts and fan from the radiator.
INSTALL FAN ASSY W/MOTOR
1. Install the fan to the radiator with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)
INSTALL RADIATOR ASSY
1. Install the radiator to the body.
2. Connect the ECT switch No. 1 connector.
3. Connect the fan motor connector.
INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER
1. Install the radiator support with the 4 bolts.
  Torque: 14 N.m (142 kgf.cm,10 ft-lbf)
2. Connect the 2 horn connectors.
INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET ASSY
1. Install the 2 air cleaner inlets with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)

ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSY (See ADJUSTMENT )
ADD ENGINE COOLANT (See COOLANT )
CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
