Section 603 (Key Reminder Warning System - Diagnosis): Pre-Check

  1. CHECK LEXUS HAND-HELD TESTER 
    1. ECU DATA MONITOR
      1. Make a judgement of good or bad and find out a malfunctioning part by the data monitor.

      TRANSPONDER KEY ECU (SWITCH CONDITION) 

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      KEY SW Ignition switch ON --> Without key ON/OFF

      DOOR ECU (SWITCH CONDITION) 

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      COURTESY SW Driver's door opened/Closed ON/OFF
    2. ACTIVE TEST
      1. Make a judgement of good or bad and find out a malfunctioning part by the active test.

      METER ECU

    3. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION (REFERENCE)
      1. Use of LEXUS hand-held tester makes it possible to select the following controls regarding the key unlock warning.
