Shift Fork Assembly: Inspection

- Measure clearance between 1st and 2nd hub sleeves and shift forks. Maximum clearance is .020" (.50 mm). If clearance exceeds specification, replace appropriate shift fork or hub sleeve. See Figure.
- Measure clearance between 3rd hub sleeve and shift fork. Maximum clearance is .033" (.84 mm). If clearance exceeds specification, replace shift fork or hub sleeve. See Figure.
