Section 495 (Rear Brake Speed Sensor): Removal

  1. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR 
    1. Remove the seat cushion and rear side trim.
    2. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.

    4. Remove the 3 clamp bolts holding the sensor wire harness to the body and suspension arm.

      Torque: 

      To body: 5.0 N.m (52 kgf.cm, 41 in.lbf) 

      To suspension arm: 19 N.m (194 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf) 

  2. 2WD: REMOVE SPEED SENSOR WITH AXLE HUB (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. 4WD: REMOVE SPEED SENSOR 

    Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the axle carrier.

    Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 70 in.lbf)
