Air Conditioning Unit: Installation

  1. INSTALL A/C UNIT 
    1. Install the A/C unit with the 2 nuts.

    3. w/Rear duct:

      Install the rear duct.

    4. Install the drain hose.
  2. INSTALL BLOWER UNIT (See  INSTALLATION   ) 
  3. INSTALL PIPE GROMMETS 
  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL AND REINFORCEMENT (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  5. CONNECT LIQUID TUBE AND SUCTION TUBE 
    1. Connect both tubes.
    2. Install the 2 piping clamps.

    3. After connection, check the fitting for claw of the piping clamp.

  6. CONNECT WATER HOSES TO HEATER RADIATOR PIPE 
    1. Connect the 2 heater hoses.

    3. Push the water hose onto the heater radiator pipe as further as the grommet.
    4. Install the hose clip in a position, as shown in Fig 5.

    6. Using pliers, grip the claw of the hose clip and slide the hose clip.
  7. FILL WITH ENGINE COOLANT (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  8. CHARGE REFRIGERANT TO REFRIGERATION SYSTEM 
    1. Evacuate air from refrigeration system.
    2. Charge system with refrigerant and inspect for leakage of refrigerant.

      Specified amount: 500 +/- 50 g (17.64 +/- 1.76 oz.)
