Master Cylinder

NOTE: If master cylinder has been disassembled or if reservoir becomes empty, bleed air from master cylinder.
  1. Using special tool (09751-36011), disconnect brake lines from master cylinder.
  2. Have a helper slowly depress brake pedal and hold it.
  3. Block off outer holes with your fingers and release brake pedal.
  4. Repeat  2 and  3 several times.
  5. Connect brake lines. Bleed brake lines. See BRAKE LINE .
  6. Check fluid level in reservoir and add fluid if necessary.
