Skid Control Ecu ASSY: Replacement

  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSY W/PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSY (SEE  INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSY  ) 
  3. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN ASSY (SEE  OVERHAUL  ) 
  4. REMOVE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the clamp of wire harness and the skid control buzzer from the skid control computer bracket.
    2. Disconnect the connector from the skid control computer.
    3. Remove the 3 nuts and the skid control computer assy.

  5. INSTALL SKID CONTROL ECU ASSY 
    1. Install the skid control computer assy with the 3 nuts.
      1. Torque:  5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in..lbf)

    2. Connect the connector to the skid control computer assy.
    3. Install the clamp of wire harness and the skid control buzzer to the skid control computer bracket.
  6. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN ASSY (SEE  OVERHAUL  ) 
  7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSY W/PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSY 
  8. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL 
  9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (SEE INITIALIZATION  ) 
  10. SYSTEM INITIALIZATION (SEE  INITIALIZATION  ) 
  11. PERFORM YAWRATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION ( CALIBRATION  ) 
  12. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC (SEE  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES CHECK CLEAR  )
