Inspection Procedure

1. Check the courtesy switch (See INSPECT THE COURTESY SWITCH ), as shown in Fig 1 and Fig 2 or Fig 3.

Standard (front LH/front RH/rear LH/rear RH):

Standard (glass hatch/back door):

1. NG: REPLACE COURTESY LAMP SWITCH 
2. OK: Go to next step. 

1. Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
2. Check the continuity between the terminals of the integration relay connector and door courtesy switch connector, as shown in Fig 4 and TESTING DOOR COURTESY SWITCH CONTINUITY .

   Standard: 

   TESTING DOOR COURTESY SWITCH CONTINUITY

   PCTY (I12-13) <--> (D8-1)	Continuity

3. Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
4. Check the continuity between the terminals of the integration relay connector and door courtesy switch connector, as shown in Fig 6 and Fig 5.

   Standard:

1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
2. OK: Go to next step. 

1. Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
2. Check the continuity between the terminals of the integration relay connector and back door courtesy switch connector, as shown in Fig 7 and TESTING INTEGRATION RELAY TO BACK DOOR COURTESY SWITCH CONTINUITY  or TESTING INTEGRATION RELAY TO GLASS HATCH COURTESY SWITCH CONTINUITY 

   Standard: 

   TESTING INTEGRATION RELAY TO BACK DOOR COURTESY SWITCH CONTINUITY

   ID-16 <--> B6-2	Continuity

   TESTING INTEGRATION RELAY TO GLASS HATCH COURTESY SWITCH CONTINUITY
   
   

   Test Between Terminals No.	Specified Condition
   ID-16 <--> G5-2	Continuity

3. Check the continuity between the terminals of the integration relay connector and glass hatch courtesy switch connector, as shown in Fig 7 and TESTING INTEGRATION RELAY TO GLASS HATCH COURTESY SWITCH CONTINUITY 

   Standard:

4. Check the continuity between terminal of the back door courtesy switch connector and the ground. See TESTING BACK DOOR COURTESY SWITCH CONTINUITY .

   Standard:

   B6-1 <--> Body ground	Continuity

5. Check the continuity between terminal of the glass hatch switch connector and the ground. See TESTING GLASS HATCH SWITCH CONTINUITY .

2. OK: CHECK TVIP ECU (Refer to  ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE  )
