Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve: Removal

REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER
2ZZ-GE: DISCONNECT 2 PCV HOSES, UPPER FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL AND UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL
2ZZ-GE: REMOVE GENERATOR (See GENERATOR )
2ZZ-GE: REMOVE NO. 1 VENTILATION PIPE
1. Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and gasket.
  HINT:
  
  At the time of installation, please refer to the following items. Use a new gasket.
2. Remove the hose clamp and disconnect No. 1 ventilation pipe.
1ZZ-FE: REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE
1. Disconnect the oil control valve connector.
2. Remove the bolt and oil control valve.
  - Torque: 7.5 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 66 in..lbf)
3. Remove the O-ring from the oil control valve.
HINT:

At the time of installation, please refer to the following items. Use a new O-ring.

2ZZ-GE: REMOVE 2 CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVES
1. Disconnect the oil control valve connector.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and oil control valves.
  - Torque: 8.5 N.m (87 kgf.cm, 75 in..lbf)
3. Remove the O-ring from the each oil control valve.
HINT:

At the time of installation, please refer to the following items. Use a new O-ring.
