Front Brake Speed Sensor: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR 
    1. Remove the front wheel.
      1. Torque: 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm, 76 ft..lbf) 
    2. Remove the fender liner.
    3. Disconnect the speed sensor connector and resin clip.

  2. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR 
    1. Remove the 2 clamp bolts holding the sensor harness from the body and shock absorber.
      1. Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in..lbf)

    2. Remove the speed sensor installation bolt from the steering knuckle.
      1. Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in..lbf) 
NOTE: At the time of installation, please refer to the following item.
  • There are no foreign objects on the sensor or the part of the knuckle to which the sensor is to be installed.
  • The sensor is installed flat against the knuckle when you tighten the bolt.
