Mirror Heater System: Inspection

1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminals 2 and 6 of the mirror heater switch and the negative (-) lead to terminal 4.

2. Connect the positive (+) lead from the voltmeter to terminal 6 of the mirror heater switch and the negative (-) lead to terminal 4.
3. When the switch is OFF, the voltage should be approx. 12 V.
4. Push the mirror heater switch ON and check that the indicator lights up and that the voltage is less than 1 V.

5. After 15 minutes, check that the switch is OFF and the voltage is approx. 12 V.

   If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

If the continuity is not as specified, replace the relay.

1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6.

2. Check that the mirror becomes warm.
   NOTE:

   It will take a short time for the mirror to become warm.

   If the operation is not as specified, replace the mirror.
