Engine Exhaust Assembly: Replacement

1. Remove the 4 nuts and 2 protectors.
2. Remove the 2 heated oxygen sensors and gaskets from the front exhaust pipe.

1. Remove the 3 nuts from the RH front exhaust pipe front side.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and lock nut from the RH front exhaust pipe rear side.
3. Remove the RH front exhaust pipe and 2 gaskets.

1. Remove the 3 nuts from the LH front exhaust pipe front side.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and lock nut from the LH front exhaust pipe rear side.
3. Remove the LH front exhaust pipe from the ring.
4. Remove the 2 gaskets from the LH front exhaust pipe.

1. Remove the bolt and clamp.
2. Remove the center exhaust pipe from the 5 rings.

Remove the exhaust tail pipe from the 2 rings.

Install the exhaust tail pipe to the 2 rings.

1. Install a new gasket to the center exhaust pipe rear side.
2. Install the center exhaust pipe to the 5 rings.
3. Install a new clamp with the bolt.

   HINT:

   For the installation direction of the clamp, see COMPONENTS .

   Torque: 32 N.m (326 kgf.cm, 24 ft.lbf) 

1. Install 2 new gaskets to the LH front exhaust pipe.
2. Install the LH front exhaust pipe to the ring.
3. Install the 2 bolts and lock nut.

   Torque: 48 N.m (489 kgf.cm, 35 ft.lbf) 

4. Install 3 new nuts to the LH front exhaust pipe front side.

   Torque: 62 N.m (632 kgf.cm, 46 ft.lbf) 

1. Install 2 new gaskets to the RH front exhaust pipe.
2. Install the 2 bolts and lock nut.

   Torque: 48 N.m (489 Kgf.cm, 35 ft.lbf) 

3. Install 3 new nuts to the RH front exhaust pipe front side.

   Torque: 62 N.m (632 Kgf.cm, 46 ft.lbf) 

1. Install 2 new gaskets from the 2 heated oxygen sensors.
2. Install the 2 heated oxygen sensors and protector with the 4 nuts from the front exhaust pipe.

   Torque: 20 N.m (200 Kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf)
