Front Wiper And Washer: Installation

Install wiper motor and link assembly .
1. Install the wiper motor and link assembly, then torque the 3 bolts.
  Torque: 7.0 N.m (70 kgf.cm, 62 in..lbf)
2. Connect the connector.
Install cowl top ventilator louver and hood to cowl top seal .
Install wiper arms .
1. Operate the wipers once and turn the wiper switch OFF.
2. Install the wiper arms and torque the 2 nuts by hand.
3. Adjust the installation positions of the wiper arms to the positions as shown in the illustration.

  A: Approx. 25 mm (0.98 in.)
  
  B: Approx. 30 mm (1.18 in.)
4. Torque the 2 nuts.
  Torque: 25 N.m (255 kgf.cm, 18 ft..lbf)
5. Install the wiper arm head caps.
