PTC Heater: Inspection

  1. Remove INSTRUMENT PANEL AND REINFORCEMENT .
  2. Remove blower unit  . See BLOWER UNIT REMOVAL .
  3. Remove foot air duct  .
  4. Remove PTC heater:
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and rear foot duct.

    3. Remove the 4 screws and PTC heater.

  5. Inspect PTC heater continuity  . See PTC HEATER CIRCUIT (QUICK HEATER) .
  6. Install PTC heater  .
  7. Install blower unit  .
  8. Install reinforcement and instrument panel  .
