Inspection Procedure

1. Check the courtesy switch (See INSPECTION or REPLACEMENT ), as shown in the illustration and table.
  Standard (front LH/front RH/rear LH/rear RH):

Standard (grass hatch/back door):

1. NG: REPLACE COURTESY LAMP SWITCH
2. OK: Go To Next Step
CHECK WIRE HARNESS (INTEGRATION RELAY <--> DOOR COURTESY SW)

1. Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
2. Check the continuity between the terminals of the integration relay connector and door courtesy switch connector, as shown in the illustration and table.
  Standard:

3. Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
4. Check the continuity between the terminals of the integration relay connector and door courtesy switch connector, as shown in the illustration and table.
  Standard:

1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
2. OK: Go To Next Step

1. Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
2. Check the continuity between the terminals of the integration relay connector and back door courtesy switch connector, as shown in the illustration and table
  Standard :

3. Check the continuity between the terminals of the integration relay connector and glass hatch courtesy switch connector, as shown in the illustration and table
  Standard :

4. Check the continuity between terminal of the back door courtesy switch connector and the ground.
  Standard:

5. Check the continuity between terminal of the glass hatch switch connector and the ground.

1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
2. OK: CHECK TVIP ECU (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE )
