Body & Frame: Windows: Windshield: Removal

1. Using a screwdriver, remove the front door scuff plate.
   NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

Using a screwdriver, remove the front door opening covers.

1. Using a screwdriver, remove the front pillar garnishes.
   NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

1. Using a screwdriver, remove the lens.
   NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
2. Open the box cover.
3. Remove the 3 screws and map light assembly, then disconnect the connectors.

1. Remove the 2 screws and sun visor, then disconnect the connector.
2. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

Remove the 2 screws and 2 sun visor holders.

1. w/Electrochromatic mirror system: Disconnect the connectors.
2. Remove the Torx screw and inner rear view mirror.

Remove the 2 nuts and 2 wiper arms.

1. Remove the hood to cowl top seal.
2. Remove the 2 clips and cowl louvers.

1. Using a knife, cut off the molding as shown in Fig 6.

   NOTE: Do not damage the body with the knife.
2. Remove the remaining molding.

1. Push piano wire through between the body and glass from the interior.
2. Tie both wire ends to wooden blocks or similar objects.

   NOTE: Apply protective tape to the outer surface to keep the surface from being scratched.
   NOTE: When separating the glass, take care not to damage the paint, and exterior ornaments. To prevent scratching the safety pad when removing the windshield, place a plastic sheet between the piano wire and safety pad.
3. Cut the adhesive by pulling the piano wire around it.

4. Remove the glass.
