Inspection Procedure

Check voltage between terminals 1E-2 and 1J-8 of body ECU connector.
PREPARATION:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the body ECU connector.
CHECK:

Measure the voltage between terminals 1E-2 and 1J-8.

OK:
1. Voltage: 9-14 V
1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptoms table. See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
2. NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
Check DOME fuse.

PREPARATION:

Remove the DOME fuse from the R/B No. 2.

CHECK:

Check the continuity of the DOME fuse.

OK:
1. Continuity
1. NG: Replace faulty fuse.
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
Check for wire harness and connector between body ECU and body ground. See LOCATION .
1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
2. OK: Check and repair wire harness or connector between body ECU and battery. See LOCATION .
