Section 249 (HVAC - General Servicing): Relay: Inspection

  1. Remove relay 
    1. Remove the heater relay. See Fig 1.
    2. Remove the rear heater relay.
    3. Remove the condenser fan relay.
    4. Remove the magnetic clutch relay.

  2. Inspect relays 
    1. Inspect heater and rear heater relay continuity. See Fig 2 and Fig 3 .

      If continuity is not as specified, replace the relay.

    2. Inspect magnetic clutch and condenser fan for relay continuity. See Fig 4 and Fig 5 .

    If continuity is not as specified, replace the relay.
