Sliding Roof: Removal

Remove roof headlining. See REMOVAL .
Remove sliding roof glass assembly :
1. Using a torx wrench, remove the 4 screws.
2. Pull the glass upward to remove it.

NOTE: At the time of installation, if the sliding roof position and drive gear full close position are not matched, the sliding roof does not operate normally.

NOTE: Remove the drive gear with the sliding roof fully closed.

Remove drive gear :
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Remove the 3 bolts and drive gear.

3. Remove the screw and cam plate cover.
4. Turn the drive gear to align the point marks.

5. Install the cam plate cover and screw.
Remove sliding roof housing :
1. Disconnect the 4 drain hoses from the housing.
2. Remove the 8 torx screws and 4 brackets.

3. Remove the 6 nuts, then remove the housing.
