Inspection Procedure

  1. Check BODY ECU-IG and ECU-ACC fuse. 

    CHECK: 

    Check continuity of BODY ECU-IG and ECU-ACC fuse.

    OK: 

    Continuity  .

    1. NG: Replace the failure fuse. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. Check voltage between terminals ACC, IG and GND of Body ECU connector. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Turn ignition switch ON.

    CHECK: 

    Measure voltage between terminals ACC, IG, and GND.

    OK: 

    Voltage: 10 - 14V  .

    1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table.  . See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLES .
    2. NG: Go to next step. 
  3. Check wire harness and connector between Body ECU and body ground  .HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT ECU CONTROLLED SYSTEMS .
    1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Check and repair wire harness and connector between Body ECU and battery.
