Outer Rear View Mirror Sub-Assembly: Replacement

NOTE: In the RH side, work in the same procedure as in the LH side.

Remove outer rear view mirror sub-assembly.

1. Tape the lower part of outer mirror body with protection tape.
2. Using a roof-molding remover, disengage the clips placed in the lower part of mirror.

3. Pull out the outer rear view mirror.
Remove outer rear view mirror sub-assembly.

1. Tape the upper part of outer mirror body with protection tape.
2. Using a roof-mouding remover, disengage the clips placed in the upper part of the mirror.
3. Pull out the outer rear view mirror.

Install outer rear view mirror sub-assembly.

1. Insert the claws placed in the upper part of backside of the mirror into the actuator hole.

2. Set the mirror in the actuator.
3. Insert the lower portion of mirror to engage the 2 clips securely.
Install outer rear view mirror sub-assembly.

1. Insert the claws placed in the lower part of backside of the mirror into the actuator hole.
2. Set the mirror in the actuator.
3. (c) Insert the upper portion of mirror to engage the 2 clips securely.
