Drive Belt: Installation

  1. Tighten Idle Pulley Lock Nut Temporarily

    1. Torque: 2.5 N.m (25 kgf.cm, 22 in..lbf) 
  2. Install Drive Belt 
  3. Using Adjusting Bolt, Adjust Drive Belt Tension 
    1. Drive belt tension: 
      1. New belt: 160 +/- 25 lbf 
      2. Used belt: 100 +/- 25 lbf 
  4. Tighten Idle Pulley Lock Nut 
    1. Torque: 39 N.m (400 kgf.cm, 29 ft.lbf) 
  5. Install PS Pump Drive Belt 
  6. Install Engine Under Cover
