Section 374 (Air Conditioning System): Condenser: Removal

  1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM 
  2. REMOVE RECEIVER. SEE  REMOVAL  . 
  3. REMOVE LIQUID TUBE 

    Loosen the nut and remove the liquid tube.

    NOTE: Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.

  4. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE 
    1. Remove the nut and disconnect the hose clamp.

    2. Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose.
    NOTE: Cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.
  5. REMOVE ELECTRIC COOLING FANS 
  6. REMOVE CONDENSER 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and relay block No. 3.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 upper radiator supports.

    3. Remove the 2 condenser set nuts.

    4. Push the radiator toward engine.
    5. Push the condenser toward radiator and pull it upward.
