Air Conditioning Unit: Installation

- INSTALL A/C UNIT
- Install the A/C unit with the 2 nuts.
- Connect the connector.
- Install the 2 rear heater ducts.
- Install the floor carpet.
- INSTALL BLOWER UNIT
- Install the blower unit with the bolt, nut and 2 screws.
- Connect the evaporator temperature sensor connector.
- Connect the connectors.
- Install the 2 connector bracket set screws.
- Install air duct RH.
- INSTALL REINFORCEMENT AND INSTRUMENT PANEL. SEE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- CONNECT 2 WATER HOSES
- Push the water hose onto the heater radiator pipe as far as the second ridge on the pipe.
- Install the hose clip in a position, as shown in Fig 7 .
- CONNECT LIQUID AND SUCTION TUBES
- Lubricate 4 new O-rings with compressor oil and install them to the both tubes.
- Connect the both tubes and install the piping clamps.
- After connection, check the fitting for claw of the piping clamp.
- FILL WITH ENGINE COOLANT
- CHARGE SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT
- Evacuate air from refrigeration system.
- Charge system with refrigerant.
Specified amount: 800 +/- 50 g (28.22 +/- 1.76 oz.)
- INSPECT FOR LEAKAGE OF REFRIGERANT
Using a gas leak detector, check for leakage of refrigerant.
