Vehicle Speed Sensor

Vehicle speed sensor is mounted on transmission. Vehicle speed sensor rotor shaft is driven by a gear on output shaft. For each shaft rotation, vehicle speed sensor sends a 4-pulse signal to cruise control ECU. The cruise control ECU then calculates vehicle speed from this pulse frequency.
